Artis Zoo

Artis Zoo, located in the heart of Amsterdam, is one of Europe's oldest and most fascinating zoos.

Ticket prices may vary which tours you want to participate in, but the basic price is:

  • Adult: is 30 euros (over 13 years)
  • Children: 25 euros for children, 3 and 12 years.
  • Under 3: years enter for free.

Artis Zoo is open all year round, even on public holidays. Opening hours are 9:00am to 18:00pm during the "summer half" (April to October) and 9:00am to 17:00pm during the "winter" (November to March).

Make your way to Artis Zoo

Getting to Artis Zoo is easy, whether you travel by car, bike or public transport. The zoo is located about 2 km east of Amsterdam Central Station, which makes it possible to walk there if you are in the city center.

If you prefer to travel by public transport, you can take tram line 14 and get off at the "Artis" stop.

You can also take bus line 287 and get off at the same stop. If you are traveling by car, there is a car park close to the zoo, but please note that parking charges apply.
