Giethoorn is a village in the province of Overijssel in the Netherlands. It is famous for its boat canals, footbridges and picturesque houses.

There are no roads in the old part of the village, so transport is mainly by water. This has earned Giethoorn the nickname "Venice of the Netherlands".
